How to get to the Leicester University mathematics department
There are various links giving information on
getting to Leicester and maps of the area surrounding the University
here.
The University is approximately fifteen minutes walking distance from
Leicester railway station (see the maps in the link above). The 48 and
80 bus services both be caught at one of the bus stops outside of the
railway station, and have a number of stops on University Road. Also,
there are always taxis available at the railway station. A map of the
campus is given
here, it shows the bus stops along University Road and the
Mathematics and Computer Science building, which is where we shall meet
before the first talk on Friday.
